Hi! I am very pleased to announce the release of the Meadowsweet Shoulder Bag pattern!
A spacious shoulder bag with distinctive iris-fold spiral panel on the front, hidden exterior zipper pocket on the back, two interior pockets and raised zipper top.
Suitable for confident beginners / intermediate bag makers, with clear step by step instructions and plenty of photos.
There's also a group on facebook where you can get help and advice, and share your creations: www.facebook.com/groups/magicflyingbootspatternschat/
This pattern features an unusual iris-fold spiral panel on the front, and the pattern also contains an alternative method of creating the spiral using paper piecing.
The completed size of the bag is 10½” tall by 14¼” wide (approx. 26.7cm x 36.2cm). It has a depth of 4” (10.2cm) at the base. This bag has been designed to use up some of my jelly rolls, as I have quite a few! They work really well for the spiral design, as well as for the underneath of the straps, the sides of the raised zipper top and the hidden panel on the back. However, you can use any fabric, cut into 2 ½“ (6.4cm) strips.
Here are some beautiful bags, made by my wonderful team of testers!
